Hi, I'm Lion Loomis, welcome to my den. Read my collection carefully, I am behind you...... |
Books are one of the oldest things dating back to thousands of years, the bible is the oldest book to date, and still the most popular, over 90% of the world population have the bible, with over a million copies distributed every week, this book is also available in the most languages over 2,300 languages. It's amazing, isn't it?
You have so many different kinds of books, hard cover books and soft cover books, pop up books, books that make noises and books that tell stories. There are thousands of books for anyone’s needs, those who have a need to delve deep in to the science of life to those who need easy read books.
You can take books out at the library and once you finished reading you can take them back, making sure that you bring it back on time or you will be penalized. For others they prefer to buy books, cook books or how to do books some like the idea of having their own library.
Having your own library though can be tedious you need to keep the books clean so that no insects eat them or dust damages them, if your books are dog-eared you need to fix it, make them look more appealing, that way you preserve the books and the value for when or if you want to sell them, never eat or drink when reading a book and never leave your books on a wet surface or in the sun. All of this will help keep your books in the best condition.
Books are a great way to learn, children look at them, students need them, teachers use them, adults love them, scientists write them, everyone has a part when it comes to books. The best was for your child to learn is by giving them a book to read, it will help them with their imagination, general knowledge, spelling, reading, grammar and much more.
