Solution Partners Worldwide Responsible for Two Thirds of Mondosoft Sales in Q2 2004
COPENHAGEN, Denmark & PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 2004--Mondosoft, pioneers in enterprise search and behavior analytics, today announced that it has completed a successful Q2, 2004, winning more than 60 new enterprise customers, 40 of which involve solution provider partners in Australia, Europe and the U.S.
In the quarter ending June 30, 2004, Mondosoft increased sales by 15% over Q104, increasing the number of customers and the scope of the average implementation. This was a record quarter for Mondosoft Americas in terms of revenue. In Q2 Mondosoft search sales comprised 65% private corporations and 35% public sector customers, showing an increase in demand by private corporations. All of the new Mondosoft customers were won as a result of competitive evaluations with other solutions, and include enterprises such as ACE INA, Agfa Monotype Corporation, Bentley Systems, CILIP and Transport for London, as well as public sector clients in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Great Britain, Norway, Sweden and the U.S.
One Mondosoft customer, Bosch Tools Corporation, chose the Mondosoft solution because it works consistently with their Microsoft .NET-based infrastructure and because it links efficient IT practices to marketing and sales. "We expect our new search to drive more sales to our partners. When people search on our site we can then direct them to one of our partners where they can purchase online -- that's the ultimate advantage to us," commented David Dickinson, Manager of Internet and Intranet Development, Bosch. Mondosoft solutions are used in conjunction with business applications such as content management, and Mondosoft's partners increasingly contribute to the adoption of Mondosoft's enterprise search solution. In the U.S., Mondosoft partner Susquehanna Technologies (SusQtech) made the largest number of sales in the second quarter. SusQtech is a Microsoft Gold Partner specializing in developing integrated portal and e-commerce solutions for the Association and Non-Profit marketplace.
